My wife wanted to try this place out. She had seen it on a page she follows and asked a question on a reviewer's comment. The owner replied to her which really impressed us. So we stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and everyone there was nice. We both got the steak in a sack combo and subbed onion rings for the fries. (This was based on the owner's suggestion). We were VERY pleased. The steak in a sack was a generous portion and the onion rings were delicious. My wife and I agree that it is the best steak in a sack we have had in years! We have a new eating out place for a quick bite. We will definitely be returning!

I had been wanting a good 'steak in a sack' and onion rings. I saw a great review about Famous Sandwiches on 'ClayEats' and knew my husband & I needed to give them a try. (Especially after the owner replied to my comment on there.) The steak in a sack was huge and flavored so well. And not too salty like so many other places are. I would be willing to say it's the best I've ever had. The onion rings were just as promised. Delicious and crispy. They also had great sweet tea. (That's a biggie for me.) The restaurant itself was very clean. I want to go back and try their chicken livers next!

Nov. 29, 3pm Saturday Did dine in. The place was clean and they had college football playing. There was alot to choose from but ended up going simple with the number 8. Cheeseburger, fries, and drink, also ordered the onion rings. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. Definitely made to order so that is always a plus. They also keep the condiments refrigerated IYKYK. The young man at the counter was polite and attentive. Definitely worth stopping in and giving them a try. Going to add this place to the "worth your money" list ✨️ just for reference 3 meals with drinks & a side of rings for the table cost us $35 ... In this economy that's a deal. Decent portions & the soda was crispy 👌

This place has great eggs. Cooked to perfection. The seasoned fries are to die for. But the best part is the staff! Very friendly and easy to get along with. They remember you even if you're not a regular. But guess what? I'm going to be a regular!

We're here on holiday and went in today to get some breakfast. Amazing breakfast sandwiches and platters. Extremely helpful and friendly owner as well. Will definitely come back before we leave.
