★★★☆☆ Amazing Food, But the Service Needs a Major Overhaul This review is tough to write because the food at Famous Pita is truly exceptional. It's a solid 5-star experience, and a huge part of that is thanks to the 5-star cook. This chef is a true gem. Not only does he create incredible food, but he also makes a genuine effort to connect with customers. He's Spanish and has taken the time to learn Hebrew, which is a wonderful and welcoming touch that makes you feel appreciated and happy to be there. However, the amazing food is completely overshadowed by a 0-star experience with the cashier. He was the opposite of welcoming—cold, detached, and seemed annoyed by our very presence. My wife’s food was cold. Didn’t need to be. My sandwich was ok. The soup was great. I did not like the way they cut the laffa. Made it more challenging to eat. The sweet potato was cold. Didn’t need to be. Shawarma was very good. Needs someone to constantly clean. Found it messy in front and back.

OMG that's what I have to say ! Second time visiting and was dreaming on coming back to this amazing shawarma pita ever had in NY maybe even better than Israel. Amazing amazing quality and tastes that are 100% accurate to the traditional dish that we all grew on in Israel. Fresh clean friendly and again very very yummy. I Highly recommend a visit

Shawarma was delicious. The laffah was on point authentic and delicious. All the salads were great. The charrif was perfect, perfect amount of spice (nice kick.) The drink choices are great, I had a delicious drink made in Italy. The guys worked quickly, got my order super fast. Clean atmosphere. I highly recommend. A+++++++++

Didn’t expect the food to be this good ! Loved it here and will definitely come back ! Cooked perfectly, food was very tasteful ! Customer service was excellent as well !! I was helped by a guy named Jonathan who was able to accommodate my special request, Awesome !
