We were very excited to see a new Middle Eastern restaurant in Noe Valley, and this place did not disappoint! Cozy atmosphere and seating, delicious food, and reasonable pricing. You cannot go wrong with any of the dishes. The Mezze Platter was rich and the pita had just the right softness. I would highly recommend the chicken musakhan and juicy kebab plates. I will definitely return to try the fattehs and mocktails. Reservations are strongly recommended via Toast, but walk-ins are also welcome except on busy holidays.

Delicious food with incredible flavor and service that truly made us feel at home. We went as a party of six adults and a toddler. When I first walked in, I was not sure how comfortable I would feel bringing a toddler because of the ambiance and atmosphere. However, once I saw the kids menu, I felt reassured that children are welcome. We ordered the chicken tenders with fried potato cubes, carrot sticks, and hummus for our two year old. She absolutely loved the potatoes and carrots. The chicken tenders were undercooked at first, but the servers quickly brought us a replacement. For the adults, we ordered plenty to share. Incredible dining experience in Noe Valley, unique flavors for the neighborhood. Every bite was tasty, staff was friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance made me feel like I need to decorate my home better - it was so beautiful! Must try.

I’ve had the privilege of attending a couple of private events here and every time I come I feel like a VIP. The ambiance is elegant yet casual, the food is flavorful and unlike anything I’ve ever had in SF, and the service makes me feel like I’m dining with family. Highly recommend booking for a private event or snagging a table for dinner when you can! Update: I’ve come at least 5 times since they’ve opened to the general public and I can’t stop thinking about the food. Must try!

Samir Salameh has created magic at Falasteen. As other reviews have noted, the food is excellent, even by the high standards of San Francisco's food culture. What sets Falasteen apart is how approachable Samir and his team are. You're getting more than a meal here, because if you want to know how the food reflects the rich heritage of Palestinian culture, he and his team will be more than happy to tell you! Falasteen is a treat for your mind as well as your taste buds. Palestinian meals, like many Mediterranean cuisines, begin with mezze (appetizers) before the main course. Pace yourself at Falasteen - the mezze are so good that you could make a meal of them, but then you'd miss out on the delicious main courses! Everything was delicious, so I will single out the muhammara (a red pe
