Nice halal food in Throggs neck area. Prices are little steep because of neighborhood as no much halal options around.

This is probably the best wind of fresh air to come out of the new mini mall. They’re open late with a wide variety of quality dishes and the only thing I could regret, was not visiting sooner! Also much appreciation to Julie and family for their exceptional hospitality and dedication to making sure me and my dad ate real good that night. Definitely my new go to spot hands down.

The location is intended for takeout. Today, I had a large or of wings wiyh bone delivered by 10:30am for students. The students said it was so fresh they thought it was homemade. The delivery was seamless and all the trays were hot to the touch on arrival. Perfection, I will be using this location again.

I tried this new restaurant recently and I am soooo disappointed. The staff was friendly and the establishment was clean but the food was absolutely awful. The chicken over rice tastes terrible and not at all what I expected and not your typical halal dish. I also ordered chicken and wedges . The wedges were dark and dripping in oil I threw them away. The chicken was also greasy, dark and no flavor. The food was barely edible. I do hope the quality improves drastically . I was excited to have a fried chicken spot in the area but I won’t be going back. Sadly Kennedy is actually way better.

The 5 star reviews are most definitely fake. The food is mediocre at best. The chicken in my wrap still had the skin on it, and the breaded fish was more bread than fish. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings were fine, but there's no way anyone is giving this place a legit 5 star review. Putting up fake reviews is a huge red flag so I'm probably not going here again. The sister store across the street (Green Apple gourmet) has better food. So does the Golden Star Deli two blocks away.
