Fairytale Cabin on Lake Wedowee

Fairytale Cabin is a wonderful place to relax and just be! The host has everything you need to get started. Unplug and unwind. Private and peaceful. I would recommend staying at Fairytale Cabin. I will be staying in one of her rentals again! Check out her rentals you won't be disappointed!

Had the most relaxing weekend with a couple of friends at the Fairytale Cabin! Coming from the bustle of Atlanta, it was so peaceful to be on the secluded property surrounded by nature. The cabin is a delight, with an amazing attention to detail and lots of character. I slept on the futon sofa and it was very comfortable with great bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils, and cooking on the outdoor flat top grill "hibachi style" was fast and fun. Looking forward to trying the outdoor pizza oven next time. We didn't venture out to the local restaurants as we brought some prepared foods and also cooked there. I went to the Fairytale Cabin a couple of weekends ago and I can still feel remnants of the deep peace I found while staying there. My friends and I wanted a little magical cocoon to really disconnect from the world, and let me tell you what! Fairytale Cabin does just that; it's like driving up to your own personal charming oasis, away from everything that stresses you out. (There is great wifi there though!) We slept three (a full sized air mattress fit very comfortably in the kitchen area) and everyone gives thumbs up on the comfort, beauty, and quality of everything. We went on hikes, kayaked, did yoga on the entertainment deck, soaked in the hot tub, utilized the flat top grill, and sat outside as much as possible to soak up the tranquility. This cabin and property are magical. The ways in which the history of the land is honored and reflected in the design and decor is second to none. It was obviously crafted and built with so much love and respect for what once was, but then to turn it into modern fairy chic, truly feels like a special feat. The attention to detail was phenomenal. On a weekend with some girlfriends, I was lucky enough to sleep in the loft bed, which was sooo comfortable. If I wasn't there, you could find me curled up in the porch swing watching the Guinea play. My girlfriend and I stayed two nights here to escape the insanity of city life and connect with nature. We got just what we were looking for! The space was clean and comfortable, with wonderful amenities to enhance our experience. Kara provided helpful directions to make our trip that much easier. It was an amazing trip that checked all the boxes for a relaxing getaway.
