Fairmount Eats

Local dinner, with extended menu. We stayed with friends in the area and visited the restaurant twice for breakfast. We had pancake, waffle, pastrami Sandwich, tuna melt, two eggs any style. They all were quite good with generous portion.

Had gyro … not bad. Guacamole good but long hair in it. Shrimp salad terrible and shrimp was super fishy and not able to be eaten. Caesar wrap had too much parmesan cheese and no flavor. Use to be good but not anymore. 80 bucks down drain

Expensive for a diner. The food is decent but they are cheap and won't let you substitute anything and every little add on costs $$$$. The lady that answers the phone and takes orders is not that friendly. They don't really care about getting business and making customers happy.

My wife was hungry so she suggested Fairmount Eats. We were there a while back and food was decent. But this time it was terrible. The place was empty with one other person there. I had the rueben and my wife had chicken sandwich with mozzarella and roasted peppers. Reuben had no meat, it was 2 thin slices of deli pastrami. Rye bread was slightly burnt, some cheese, saurkraut looked aged. Wife's sandwich was overdone, like extra, extra crispy overdone. Bread was burnt, mozzarella was dry. Over 50 bucks for terrible food wasnt worth it at all. Gnats flying around the table. I don't like writing bad reviews but we won't be going back. Service was good though.

I was looking for a good lunch spot and ordered from this spot on the phone. I ordered the Eats Grilled Chicken. When I arrived I was greeted and the spot was super cozy. I paid and left. When I dug in the sandwich was good and I enjoyed the fries as well! All in all it was a good experience!
