Extended Stay America Select Suites- Detroit - Ann Arbor - University South

The front desk staff was great. The room felt a little broken. Trash under the bed. Not kitchen. Cooking utensils or anything to cook with but there was a kitchen at least and a stove. No don't disturb sign for room.

Krystal (hope I am spelling it right) is an amazing front desk person. Her hospitality skills are absolutely awesome. She has made sure to make my little girl and myself very comfortable and a safe place to live while I search for us a new home. I did not know i could extend my stay for long and she has made it possible where I do not have to worry. She is the best!!

Extended stay advertises continental breakfast and kitchenware (upon request) as a part of your stay. Neither were available for our trip and we were told that these services were not offered. While the front office staff was pleasant, we were sorely disappointed with the overall experience (false advertisement and musty smell in room and hallways). Edit: whats up with the textbook PR response? I dont plan to stay again because not only did you use false advertisement, you didnt address my concern directly. Good luck!

While this staff was polite and the property looks nice on the outside that’s where it ends. This hotel is totally sketch! I can’t mix words: Do NOT stay here! When we arrived after 11pm the front desk was closed. I believe some older people live at the hotel (section 8 housing ?). The rooms were dirty and outdated. Holes in the wall. The beds were old and soft. You could hear everything outside. Run far from this place.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Bed, I might as well have been sleeping on a table. The hotel advertises "grab and go" breakfast but they do not offer it. Front desk either rarely had someone there or was locked closed
