I wish I could give more stars. I just got out of the hospital still with my wrist bands. I was using a walker and an observant employee noticed and quickly helped me inside. The food is always fresh and hot. When it came time to leave, the same person made sure I got out safely. Probably the best and cheapest home cooked meal in Perryville. I'm forever thankful to them and the staff. Yes the shakes are soo good.

My grandkids got milkshakes with their food and were both highly praising the thickness and flavor. My granddaughter had chicken strips and they were delicious and fresh. Everything was as it should be. Always a friendly warm atmosphere.

Great food. We ended up buying BBQ sauce because we liked it so much. The parking is sufficient and the seating is a fairly small area. I like their historical decor on the walls. Obviously this family is a piece of history in town. They would do very well to find a larger venue in a better location. I'm sure locals would forgive them for moving onto a main street with some outdoor seating and larger eating area. In the future I'd be more likely to do take out than eat in.

This has been my favorite restaurant in Perryville for decades . Great food and a comfortable hometown feel. The BBQ on bun is awesome and I always add onion rings or wedges.

Ewalds barbeque is a comfort food for the locals! Great shakes as well! I have been there three times this week for just a bbq on bum to soothe my cold. It works!
