Eta Pie

We had been driving all day and needed somewhere to get takeout and we saw the great reviews for ETA Pie. We were shocked about all the creative options. We got two small pies to split and a Caesar salad. The dressing was really good on the Caesar salad. But the pies were amazing. I loved the eggplant on the pie. Also, the Philly cheesesteak was so good. If I came back to the area, I would definitely come here again and try new flavors.

Norfe the owner really cares about making a good quality product. The ingredients are very fresh and the toppings are generous. The 18" pizza is huge and easily feeds a family of 4. ( or 2 hungry teenage boys lol) I recommend the bbq chicken, the marinated mushrooms, the caramelized onions, and if ur feeling adventurous the Masala sauce;) the pictures dont do it justice because it was after an hour drive home but it was delicious!!!

Crust is good, ingredients seem quality but I wouldn't know, but the pizzas as a whole are mediocre. Some are bland, some are way too rich. There are at least half a dozen pizza places in town I would choose over Eta Pie. The fried food is why I'm leaving a review at all. Fried chicken, fried mozzarella, fried ravioli; it all tastes horrible, like wet dog and the promise of acid reflux. It's been the same every time I've ordered over the past couple months. One of the most consistently bad experiences I've had with any restaurant.

**BEST GLUTEN FREE CRUST** This place may not look like much from the outside, but the pizza is authentic Italian! So many unique pies to choose from. My wife is GF and tried this pizza with peaches and prosciutto (WILD sounding I know 😅). It was incredible and you could barely tell the crust was GF! They also have local soda which was super charming. I had the meat lovers pizza, which had unique flavor as well. Ended it all with a Canoli dessert. If you're visiting Ithica, you gotta stop by!

Check your food before you leave if you are picking up an order - this place just cannot get it right. Also, the only good part of their pizza is the crust. Anyone wanting to order from here should try Sal’s instead. Not going to waste my money on this place again.
