E’s Fish and Chips Soul Food Restaurant

I felt very compelled to write a review for you all today because this food was amazing! First off, I found this place on google and based off the reviews alone I had to give it a try. I’m glad because I was not disappointed!!! When I called in the woman who answered was very kind and warm which is a plus when making my food. I ordered the 3pc whiting dinner with two sides (Mac and yams) w/ a side of collard greens. When I say the collards had me HOOKED! So flavorful and cooked to perfection. The whiting was very fresh and seasoned well. The Mac and cheese was excellent and the yams were great. Also, ordered a few slices of carrot cake I’m excited to eat that too. Overall, the food and service is definitely worth it!

I had an amazing experience at E’s Fish and Chips Soul Food! The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You will not be disappointed! The service was just as impressive. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made the whole visit feel warm and personal without being overbearing. And the atmosphere is Super inviting, Clean, relaxed, and full of good energy If you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and a spot that feels like home, this place is a must-visit. I go there at least 3 to 4 days per week. The staff is awesome and extremely nice!

No joke, easily the best new joint I've tried in 5 years or more.. every bit of our takeout order was made with LOVE. High quality, will definitely be back when I can!!

I absolutely love the food from this place. The hospitality is immaculate. The food is great. My favorite are the collard greens. OMG reminds me of my great grandma’s collard greens so you know that’s a plus The portions are on point and the prices you can’t beat I highly recommend if you are in Waterbury.
