We ordered the Quzi - Sham, Maqloobah, and Eggplant Salad. The food was excellent, especially the Maqloobah!!! Sammy (the Owner?) was so kind and caring. He explained all of the menu items to us, and constantly made sure we were well taken care of. He was great to talk with as well. Highly recommend this place! This was our first time having Iraqi food, and it did not disappoint!
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The Iraqi kebab was tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection — you could taste the smoky flavor in every bite. The kuba was just as impressive, beautifully crisp on the outside and packed with rich, savory filling on the inside. Both dishes tasted authentic and freshly made, with spices that brought out real depth and warmth. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. If you’re looking to try genuine Iraqi food, this place is a must-visit!!
I TRULY DISLIKE TO LEAVING A BAD REVIEW. But I was highly disappointed in my order. Under no circumstances order the lamb/beef Shawarma. It is the most impossible food to chew through. Rubber is even an understatement. I Wasted $14. Try one of there another dish. DO NOT ORDER LAMB/BEEF SHAWARMA. On a positive note the service and atmosphere was good.
Best babaganoush I've had in years! The flavor was amazing and the big pieces of eggplant mixed in gave the dip a great consistency. The house-made pita was delicious, too - still warm, despite it being a carry-out order. The falafel sandwich was a little bit heavy on the pickles. However, the pickles, when eaten separately, were also very tasty. Grilled half chicken was cooked just right - flavorful and tender. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.
Erbil Kabob is one of the best spots for grilled food in Fairfax. The food is always fresh and flavorful, especially the kebab which has an authentic Iraqi taste and perfect seasoning. The bread is fresh, and the sides like hummus and salad are delicious. The service is friendly and fast, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Iraqi and Middle Eastern cuisine.
