Erawan Thai

What a pleasant surprise this locally owned Thai restaurant turned out to be. Erawan Thai in Cumming has quickly become our favorite Thai spot in the area. We met the owner during our visit, and she is incredibly kind and clearly passionate about her food. She personally oversees many of the dishes, and it shows in the quality. Up front, Landon handled our service, and he was excellent... friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He deserves a shoutout for the great service. We ordered gyoza and dumplings to start, and both were very good. The dipping sauce they serve is not the typical soy sauce mix you find at most places; it has a sweeter profile and paired perfectly. We ordered Thai red curry and Pad Thai noodles. The taste is ok nothing great. Was expecting a lot more in a typical Thai restaurant. Atmosphere is very good and has ample seating spaces. The service is quite good, prompt and full of warmth.

Food was great. I got the cheese roll and the Thai Curry Noodles with chicken. It came with a red curry sauce, and the sauce was great. Good texture and flavor. Good portion size as well. Good causal restaurant to bring your family and friends.

I definitely recommend Erawan because the food here never disappoints. Everything is always so flavorful and well-seasoned. This time we tried the tofu Thai curry noodles and the sesame chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious.

Great place to explore some good Thai food. The basil chicken fried rice was good with the right amount of spice, the drunken noodles were a bit on the soggy side, where I would expect it to be a bit more dry and more flavorful. Overall a good place for some nice Thai cuisine. Will be back to try out other dishes.
