Empire Coffee

Literally the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had! I had read about this coffee shop in the 417 Magazine and decided to make a special trip (an hour’s drive) just to try it out. My Carlo Breve was so good, I had to bring my husband back the very next day! Carlo the owner had time to tell us all about his coffee and other offerings - loved the baked items from the French chef he partnered with! Saturday was much busier than Friday but the quality remained the same. I see many side trips to Rogersville just to get more of this amazing place!

First time getting a coffee here. The staff was so helpful. The drink was very good. The almond croissant was probably the best I’ve ever had. Get it!! The wafers were so good too. Super cute boutique and coffee shop wish it was closer. Absolutely will come back.

I’ve been here a couple times already and both were absolutely worthwhile. The coffee shop is located inside a gift shop, but there are plenty of places to sit and relax. I especially like the couch and comfy chair options. I specifically sought this place out for their espresso. I’ve been to Rome and have missed the coffee from there, and this place fills that void. The espresso is perfectly smooth and high quality. There’s a good sweetness to the drinks they make too, but not overpowering. The tiramisu is a delightful treat, as are all the other sweets they make. Each are made fresh with care. The staff is so helpful and kind as well! Highly recommend visiting.

I visited Empire Coffee yesterday & it was like I took a trip to Italy & I only had to drive to Rogersville! I’d go as far to say that it’s the best coffeehouse in the 417 & worth the drive!!! * Friendly, knowledgeable staff! I love coffee & consider myself a coffee expert so I had a lot of questions & he was so nice to chat with me & answer my questions. Best customer service I’ve ever had & that says a lot. I could tell that he loves the customer & goes the extra mile for them & his products. He’s even carries Danessi Italian coffee & he’s the only one in the area to do that & the only other closest place to find that is in Kansas City. * The coffee is incredible! 5 stars in all categories… and no, no one asked us to post this… we simply just tried this spot today for the first time based on a recommendation. Mind blown … and incredibly pleased … by how nice this place is. The food is very good!The coffee is even better!! And the atmosphere is icing on the proverbial cake! Took my Mom here today for lunch!! Had THE most awesome time!! Mom’s been a little down after a fall and recovery time (all healed) and this truly lifted her spirits big time!! Not only very cool inside, relaxing, etc., but the staff were literally amazing! They were simply genuinely kind, nice, and provided excellent service!!
