Empanada Gourmet

Came here for something to eat after being at the NoKings protest. My friend who is from Lancaster knew of this place and liked it. Small joint with limited inside seating. Got busy when we were leaving and filled up pretty quickly. It looked like they had cute outdoor seating, but we didn't get a good look as it started to rain. Freshly made empanadas. I had the beef and cheese, which was good, but I also got the Uruguaya, which was out of this world delish! I wanted more! We later got & split the desert empanadas; nutella, ducle de leche, and quince. They were ok. The seasoning on Quince was good, but the dough for the deserts wasn't that good. But if they ever were to open a restaurant in West Chester, PA I would be a regular getting the Uruguaya!

Clean facility with plenty of seats and a sanitary bathroom. Spinach is a bit salty. Rice and bean was spicy. Uruguayan is a mild spicy mix of flavors. Caprese is tasty and delicious. Empanadas are heated and 2 make a full meal. Limited selection of drinks. We bought 4 Empanadas and 2 drinks for about $26.

Absolutely Ridiculous Flavor combos!!! First time and Score!! What a fabulous selection and beautiful restaurant. I love the options and they even have a spicy dipping sauce to please the spicy lover in me🥳 The ladies were absolutely fantastic and friendly and so helpful, even with silly questions from newbies🤗 will return We tried a variety of Uruguayan, Ham and cheese and their Kale. Hubby raved about the green sauce and even tried the spicier red. The Empanadas are Stuffed to the corners and definitely worth the price!!! That's ladies for an amazing experience and we'll return. 5 stars!!!!!💯💣👍

The warm welcome you get when you enter The Empanada Gourmet makes you feel at home . The atmosphere is amazing and the food... The food!!! The empanada is light, flaky & butter. They have many flavors for you to choose from! You will not be disappointed with this new place in Lancaster city!!

The empanadas were absolutely incredible, but the best part of the experience was the people! We had such a lovely time eating outside in the beautiful back patio. We tried the chicken, ham & cheese, beef, and beef & cheese and every single one was delicious. The chimichurri sauce was also exceptionally delicious!! We will definitely be back!!
