Empanada Beast

Went to the Laurita Winery and tried their food truck at the event. The Arepa and chicken empanadas were soooo good!! My boyfriend and I loved the Arepa and it was our first time ever having one. 10/10!

We are at the monmouth park latin festival Empanada Beast food truck.Empanadas were supposed to be chicken there was no chicken just a potato like substance.my wife won the prize hers has this?? Worst of all $20 in the garbage.

Got these empanadas while Black Friday shopping. They were super warm. I personally loved them & I’m a very picky eater. However I can see the mixed reviews as I brought them home and my family thought otherwise. The shell seems to be corn based and has a nice crisp to it. The filling is a filling. I do think the taste resembles broth. I had beef & chicken. They aren’t loaded with a ton of extra things like veggies.

Loved the food! I got the empanada combo and chicken fingers. The service is quick and the people are very nice. Would recommend if you want to get some food!!!! 5 Stars All Around!!!

NOT authentic food. I grew up on this and I make them so I know. The pork roll empanada was 2 slices of spam between 2 corn cakes. Not even real pork. No meat to bite into! The chicken empanada tasted like Campbell's chicken soup. Terrible. I don't know how they get away with that. Why am I not getting a refund you ask in exchange for not leaving a review? Because people deserve to know ahead of time before they spend their hard earned money on expensive junk processed meat. And you, "empanada king" should use fresh meat not pre packaged, not from a can, and authentic seasonings. Let's see what you have to say about that. Shameful.
