Emerald Point Lakeside Restaurant and Pub

An Emerald night!!! I searched all over the East Coast to find the perfect location for our 55th (Emerald) Wedding Anniversary. I found that location in the Emerald Point Restaurant at Greenwood Lake. Erin was instrumental in making sure our night was special. The indoor setting by the window with a view of the lake was perfect. Our server Lauren saw to all our needs. The food was wonderful. They were able to surprise my wife when they brought our dessert by including the Emerald Anniversary watch I had bought for her as part of the dessert presentation. No wonder it has the name of a gem. It was certainly a Gem of a Night!

The only thing for the place is the location. I came on a Sunday when the opened at 12. So no wait. We did have a larger party & was accommodated right away. We waited over an hour for our food to come out though. We order several apps. Mozz sticks, hot wings, pretzel, & ravioli. Had hungry kids. And not too long after the apps our lunches came out. Should've skipped the apps at that point. Our mixed drinks were weak. For a first time here, I can't say whether or not I'll be back.

Interior reminded me of Snow White’s cabin. Food was very good, portions were giant, service was friendly. A restaurant in the area that is reliable and open during off seasons. Worth trying!

Emerald Point is a wonderful place to go on the weekend. The parking lot has an assortment of classic cars and motorcycles along with a simply beautiful view of Greenwood Lake. Pontoons and motorboats coming in and out of the little canal in-between the north and south side of the lake. The food is delicious, also you can sit outside and watch everything unfold around you. Do forget to order a Bushwhacker however be careful it sneaks up in you like a Long Island Ice Tea. But they are delicious.
