Have been reading the Elmhurst Independent for 5 years and enjoy it immensely. Like the upbeat family friendly reporting on local events and the police blotter gives me that sense of reality makes me realize that we are not in paradise and the "real world" visits us regularly. Really like the the want adds and have used many small handyman operations I've found there. Keep up the good work ! 👏
Accurate, informative, and pretty unbiased reporting. Pretty detailed police blotter as well. They're much better than other hyper-local online *news* outlets. Wished there were more stories and was updated more often.
