Ehhh okay I guess, I felt the value vs the cost didn’t really align. I ordered a wedge salad and it look more like a collapsible head of lettuce not like a true cut quarter crispy fresh head of lettuce, the bread served was really good though, I believe it was cranberry bread and some other kind of bread. The oysters were small and over priced as well. I am use to larger Virginia east coast yellow strap oysters, when asked the size the waiter said they are really large out of Washington, lol these thing were small with very little meat. Between my glass of wine, salad and oysters and my wife’s pasta with clams and an ice tea(I much pasta was watery) we left spending around 200 bucks, not really worth it in my opinion, but had to give it a try. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, but the food was just okay. We had the octopus, sous vide and then grilled. It was cooked really well, but the dish lacked balance. The mango sauce was overly acidic and sweet. We also ordered the tomahawk steak which was cut table side by the chef. Ann, our waiter warned us that the chef liked to err on the rarer side and she was totally right. The steak was still raw in the middle and it had to be sent back. The cognac au poivre was missing the poivre and the bearnaise was missing the classic tarragon flavor. I'm a saucy guy and I barely touched them. Our sides were great. The crispy hen of the forest mushrooms were reminiscent of Japanese tempura and the truffle leek gnocchi was super yummy.

Overpriced garbage. I has the steak and shrimp and I was so disappointed that the shrimp still came with the shell and it was way overcooked. I had to scrape it out of the freaking shell and take the head off of it. The steak was medium well and they never even asked me before my meal how I wanted it cooked. This was a Valentine’s Day meal and it was $145 per person the amount of food the preparation and the service was deplorable. As soon as I took two bites of food somebody was there, asking me if I was finished. I felt like I was constantly being rushed to get through my meal. The wine was also horribly overpriced. Some of my dearest friends and I dined at Elementa, and it was a stunning experience. I’m a sucker for great ambiance, and they nailed it, very moody, with great lighting and beautiful sculptures throughout the restaurant. So fun! We tried a variety of dishes, including oysters, octopus, wagyu strip steak, and a tomahawk steak, both of which were large enough to share. It was a lot of food! I had the filet with a twice-baked potato, and it was perfect. The filet was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Don’t even get me started on the desserts! Service and food was perfect. Food was exceptional and high quality, everything tasted amazing. The ambiance was great for a dinner date and the calm atmosphere let you focus on enjoying your meal.
