Elbow Room

Classic Elmira wing place that's a must stop whenever I make it back to my hometown. Wings are classic. Burgers perfect. Fried food heaven. They get backed up quick during dinner service, but be patient it's worth it and drinks are more than reasonable. A lot of regulars, but newcomers are welcome with "open arms."

I placed a order to go on Wendsday Feb. 25,2026. We have been ordering from Elbow Room for years, we have never had a problem until now. We ordered 4 orders of wings. They were suppose to mediums they were more like your hot wings. we are used to seeing big beautiful wings, very disappointed they were small, some were over done to the point they were ao crispy hard ypu couldnt bite through the and a few were pink and undercooked. Everytime we order, we get 4 to 6 orders, so we spend a bit of money. As I said we have never had a complaint b3fore and I would normally not say anything, but these were absolutely horrible. We sorry to have had to complain.p

What a pleasant surprise, I thought this was just a bar room. The service was very good. I had a fish fry and my sister had a salad we had fried cauliflower and cheese curds. All were cooked perfectly and the fish was surprisingly good. Great spot for a quick meal

Let me start by saying it's true what you heard about the wings! They must be, I've been back three times for them already! They're big and flavorful. The first time I visited the ER I had the wings and fries with gravy I found the gravy to be very watery so that was swapped out with a cheese sauce which was much better. The only thing with the wings is you get a tiny cup of blue cheese for about 15 to 16 wings. I believe the wings are about $17 so would be nice if there was a larger blue cheese dip to come with it.

Cash only. ATM on site but I think the fee was $4+. You order at the bar and then the food is brought to your table. We had a large party of 12 and came for lunch. Sat in the back which was a little on the chilly side so wear layers. Bathrooms were clean. We came because we heard they have the best wings on town. Everyone in our party who ordered some said they were fantastic. I ordered the grilled cheese. It was undercooked so it was more like a cheese sandwich. But it was still good. Ordered boneless wings for the kids because they don't have a kid's menu. Kids enjoyed their food. Next time we come back to this area, we'll be visiting again.
