El Zalsoso

I very much enjoyed eating here. The man that helped us at the counter was so polite. The food was great. I had the street tacos. Carnitas was good beans and rice was awesome. They have homemade chips and salsa which the salsa so unique and good. The Horchata is perfect. Will come again

New stop for me and my coworker. We searched Google food by us. Found this place El Zalsoso. Gave it a shot has good reviews. Ordered chicken tacos and handmade corn tortillas were delicious also rice and beans and chips and salsa. Great service, great food. Cold drinks too. Very welcoming and helpful and owner. We will be back and I recommend as a Google reviewer.

Get ready to be wowed. Authenticity, kindness, freshness, flavorful, and fun. Love it here and so glad to find my new favorite mexican cuisine. The owner was beyond friendly and helped us find the perfect balance between savory and cheesy. Wonderful. Highly recommended.

I saw the 5-star reviews and honestly expected this to be a comfortable sit-down Mexican restaurant where you could relax and enjoy a full meal. Instead, it felt much more like a pick-up-and-go type of place, which wasn’t what we were anticipating. That difference alone set the tone for the visit. One of the biggest disappointments was that they didn’t even have chilaquiles at all. This was one of the main reasons we chose to come here, so finding out it wasn’t even an option was frustrating. Chilaquiles are a fairly common dish at many Mexican restaurants, especially for anyone familiar with traditional or regional Mexican food, so the absence really stood out. The cleanliness was another issue. The restaurant was semi-clean, but there were noticeable areas that could have been cleaner.

So glad to upon this place! Delicious asada fries, and churro cheesecake. Super friendly staff and very clean restaurant and bathroom. Highly recommended!
