El Vaquero

It was some of the best Mexican food we have had in the bit. Everything was delicious 😋 all the way to the chips and salsa. We walked in and sat right down we order and the food came out in no time so so good. We will be going back to try other things. All the staff was friendly and just a nice atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the food was excellent.

Been coming here for more than 15 years. Newer management has the service and atmosphere humming like a well oiled machine! My usual is Mexican lettuce wraps with regular cheese, but this day I had the fajita quesadilla (chicken), and thought it was super delicious! I’m not usually a food picture taker, but look at how great this looks! Nice job as always: Zuly, Oscar, Rosa, Diego, & the rest of the team!

I went to El Vaquero with a friend during lunch hour, and we had a great experience. The service was friendly and quick, even though it was a bit busy. The lunch portions were generous and flavorful—we both enjoyed our meals. The chips and salsa came out fresh, and everything tasted authentic. It’s a solid spot if you’re craving Mexican food during the day. I’ll definitely be back!

I had a very bad experience here last night. First off all the food had to be store bought, it lacked flavor. My server was very rude. He took 20 minutes just to come take my order. I came with a friend as they walked to the restroom disappointed , the other server pointed to them and started making jokes with each other. My server also sent us to the front to pay instead of taking our check like he did his other tables. The manager was helpful. I did appreciate that. I don’t ever have to come back and it wouldn’t be a suggestion.

Recently went for lunch at El Vaquero for the first time. I have heard rave reviews over the years about this restaurant. I found everything to be good but in no way the best in the area. The service was exceptional for sure. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. High points for service. The atmosphere was average clean for sure but nothing outstanding. The food was ok again nothing outstanding except the guacamole which was fresh and delicious and made table side. The beans and cheese were fine and the queso was ok as well. The chips were warm when they arrived which was great. Overall ok but didn’t match the rave reviews I have heard.
