El Torero Mexican Dining and Cantina

Was hoping for the best after the restaurant had recently changed hands! Unfortunately, we are sad to say that the food really has not improved. Best part of the meal : the gravy with cheese and homemade flour chips were excellent (although the first basket of chips was over cooked). The #27 meal was lacking in taste (chilli Ren & cheese enchilada) along with the beans and rice. Hardly any flavor, beans were the worst I've tasted. The best part of the plate was the green gravy. As for the fajitas, the meat was not marinated and not even sliced throughly - just sloppy. Service was friendly and helpful, but at times slow; even though we were only there with one other table - it took a long time to order. Had to ask for two items that never arrived. Will we be back? Unfortunately, no. There

Absolutely love El Toreo! Can eat here everyday for a week! Margaritas are soooo good! And my go to every time for the past 6 years is Vallarta with no sour cream. When I went into labor with my son I asked my mom to drive 40 min to get me a burrito before I had him 😂 absolutely love the staff and they are practically family now! Also absolutely love the homemade chips and salsa! Sooo good!

The homemade tortilla chips were delicious and crispy. We all had excellent food. The service was good and friendly

Finally got to come here, and glad we did. Food is good, comes quickly and the service is friendly and good. Will be back.

Had a quick bite to eat with the family, staff was super accommodating and pleasant, went above and beyond locating a football game for me to watch. The food was good not blow you away with flavors but good.
