El Tex Mex Burrito & Cafe

When I was craving a breakfast burrito, I immediately thought about this place. The burrito, hot dog and hibiscus drink were all delicious. The prices are totally untouched by inflation! Edited: The mole sauce is totally homemade. It was so good 😭

Best Tex Mex I’ve had on the East Coast (I’m from Texas.) Flour tortillas were huge and handmade. Migas were super spicy in a good way. No frills mom and pop shop.

My recent meal here was quite disappointing. The food came out cold, which made everything feel unappetizing right from the start. The burrito was by far the blandest I’ve ever had. No seasoning whatsoever, just a tasteless mix of ingredients that lacked any spice, salt, or flavor. The nachos were no better. They arrived dry with absolutely no cheese, and the toppings added zero taste or excitement. If you’re looking for food with any real flavor or warmth, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Every single time I eat here the food is always delicious and the service is great! 👍🏽 Even when I order food "to go" it's always warm and tasty when I get home.
