El Tapatio

I've grown up in Chicago and we have a huge Mexican community so I'm very familiar with good Mexican food. I have to say that El Tapatio would kill it in Pilsen. I had tacos at the Parachute location and a few days ago Carne Asada at their Moab location. They have this amazing Mexican style Coleslaw which is fantastic and the food is top notch. It's rare to get super hot food at restaurants but the food comes out HOT and fresh. Seriously when I'm in the areas El Tapatio is located I will be back.

We loved it! Parachute is a really small town so we weren't sure how good the restaurants would be. This place was SO great to find! We walked over from the Grand Vista Hotel. So convenient! Chips & salsa & slaw were great--fresh, tasty. I ordered the chicken fajitas & loved them--and everyone else ordered meals that they liked. There were 6 adults total and we were all happy with our food and the service! Recommend! Our server was "Benny" or Benito and he was great!!!! Thank you!

Spent the weekend in denver and was not impressed by the food. Decided to come out to the mountains. Found this place and I was very impressed. Great food and good prices.

This restaurant doesn't stand out when passing through, but once inside you can see it's a local favorite. Very good food and service.

Service was exceptional. The fried cheese cake was delightful. Got seated immediately and quickly put in our order. Server was very friendly and kept check on us to make sure we had what we needed. Its a little on the pricey side but the plates are massive and filled to the brim with food. Quality of the food was amazing. Would recommend! Had an authentic Mexican atmosphere with music and decorations.
