There was either a true language barrier or it was intentional bad service. I chose to believe the first option. My husband ordered eltaptio special. Husband wanted rare ribeye and we received it over well. I ordered the mix competes. first it came out cold they sent it back then it came back firing hot and smelling delicious. When I reached in to fill my first tortilla, I grabbed the spoon and it had been placed in the oven with the dish. I have 3rd degree burns on my thumb and forefinger. It burned my four finger and thumb. I should have started with drinks as that is how our meal started both my husband and I wanted to do Long Island iced tea. First one we received was excellent when the waiter came by the second time we were trying to motion and let him know we wanted another, but came

Dining in is amazing. Take out isn’t so good. This is the chicken quesadilla my son received.

Very sweet restaurant with incredible staff. The chips and salsa are nice as you sit down. I ordered the veggie enchiladas and was hoping for a bit more flavor and/or some black beans or something inside for a bit more substance, but everyone I ate with loved their food. Great spot!

El Tapatio in Delta is a must-try! I've been several times now and have always had a fantastic experience. Their specialties are where they really shine - the molcajete is a flavor explosion, and the pollo a la diabla has just the right amount of kick.
