El Tamalazo De Palmetto Bay

Food was too expensive. $23 for a palomilla is outrageous in comparison to the quality, place, decor and vibe. The place has a cafeteria or quick eats kind of decor and atmosphere. Dine in and takeout was an option. The food was good but not for the price. Plenty of parking and place was not busy at all even though it was a Saturday night. Service was ok. Be aware when you ask for water they suggest bottled water, make sure you let them know you want a cup of water.

Has to be the worst Cuban restaurant in Miami. And I'm Cuban. Only two types of beers, Corona or Heineken. I don't drink any of those. No bread to accomplish the appetizers or entree. No cocktails and no wine either. Please do not waste your time bringing your wife here. She will hate it. Only stop by if you're single or alone.

Just don't go here please it is absolutely the most disgusting food ever. They just changed owners like 3 days ago and I cannot even express to you as a Cuban, how absolutely horrible this was. I'm sorry I normally do not leave very brutal reviews like this but I want you to just save yourself your money and your time. This for us was a whim because we have eaten at the one in Krome and it was amazing and you figured okay it can't be that bad. Not to mention we were like super hungry because we had dropped off my car at the dealer. Just extremely disappointed

Amazing environment. Staff was really nice. As a Cuban the food tasted authentically Cuban. Amazing would def recommend you try.

I parked in a public parking spot in the plaza and was approached by a man who owns a grey truck and a woman with him. They asked if I was eating at the restaurant, and when I said not today, they told me I wasn’t allowed to park in front of the restaurant as they said it’s only for customers. There are no signs indicating this spot is reserved for the restaurant, so I believe this is a public space. I hope the restaurant can understand that public parking spots should remain accessible to everyone. If this continues, I may have to take further action. Please take this into consideration.
