El Taco Veloz

The food in this place is good but today in two dishes that I ordered hairs came out. I also ordered a tamal and had a hair between the meat they should put more hygiene rules with the kitchen staff since this situation was very unpleasant.

This was one of the worst places I’ve been to. The girls at the register didn’t even acknowledge me when I came in. I came to pick up my order and I should’ve known based of the service I received, how the food was going to be and I still decided to grab my order. When I got back to work to eat what I ordered, I was immediately disappointed when I opened my food. Don’t recommend this place at all, save yourself the money.

I ordered this about 20 minutes ago on ubereats and let me tell you I am sorely disappointed. I used to eat at tacos veloz all the time, however it was the one on Buford highway. . . The portion sizes are f****** terrible! I've spent over $50 on this order and nothing is edible... When did they start making bite-size burritos??! 🤔 Why aren't my fries full? Why aren't my carnitas full? Why does the queso look and taste like agua 🤢? Why are the chips old, stale, and burnt?! This is the second order I've had from this one in the last two years, and nothing has improved 😞. I will never order here again and I will be getting a full refund from Uber..

I think I found my new favorite Mexican restaurant! I'm a black girl that lives in the Chamblee area, and I have many Latino friends and neighbors. One day my neighbor was eating a burrito from this place, as it looked and smelled so GOOD! He recommended I come here. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly male cashier who took my order and also made some recommendations for what was good on the menu. I ordered the carne aside (steak) jumbo burrito, with a side of fries, and mango Agua. GUYS, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS PERFECTION!! The taco was huge and delicious, the fries were crispy and well seasoned and battered, not those frozen fries you get from other places and they throw a little salt on them. Look... I understand that this place is very loved and one of its first. There is other TACO VELOZ location with better costumer service and better tasty tacos. This location was my first for me. It made me feel close to home. I wish this location it's best, I don't believe it will go away, I just hope they make their meats more delicious.
