El Taco Grande

This spot has become one of my go-to places for al pastor. They've got the tromp spinning all day. Got mine doraditos style where they shave the meat and give it a quick sear on the flat top. So good. Mexi-Papa told me to try the tripita next time so that's on the list. Parking is rough and yeah it's in the hood, but worth it if you're nearby. Corner lot, not much seating so I took mine to go. Staff are friendly and used to non-Spanish speakers so don't let that stop you.

As close as it gets to Mexico City street tacos without eating eating Mexico City street tacos. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Our tacos were so flavorful that I forgot to squeeze lime in mine and my husband forgot to put salsa in his. We ended up getting more to go. If we didn’t live all the way on the other side of the US, we would be back for sure. We had the al pastor tacos, queso birria tacos, and consomé.

I went to this place because I had heard that they had the best al pastor tacos, I hate to say this, but I was really disappointed tacos were lacking flavor, I ordered tripa, Cabeza and birria tacos. I asked about the birria ramen, and I wish these people would stop adding birria to a maruchan and calling it ramen. Their's also nowhere to park.

THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE, FROM THE CASHIER FROM BEGINNING UNTIL THE END. NEVER GO, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL, THE CASHIER WORKER DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO YOU AT ALL. SHE TAKE FOREVER TO TAKE THE ORDER AND TAKES FOREVER TO GIVE YOU YOU THE CHANGE BACK. THE CASHIER IS EXTREMELY RUDE, AND IF YOU DON'T TALK TO HER, SHE WON'T TALK TO YOU AND MAKE YOUR ORDER, OR ASK ANY QUESTIONS. SHE DOESN'T MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOME. PLUS, IN ADDITION, SHE GIVES YOU THE WRONG ORDER AND MIX THEM UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILKS AT ALL.
