El Sol Méxican Restaurant

There aren’t many restaurants in this area, so we were really happy to discover El Sol. The server was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Prices are very affordable, and the portions are generous. I ordered three chorizo street tacos, and my partner had a burrito — both were filling and flavorful, with plenty left to take home. The real highlight of the meal was the chips and guacamole. The guac was fresh and tasty, and the endless refills of warm chips were such a nice touch. Overall, El Sol is a great find — friendly service, hearty portions, great value, and delicious food.

They have THE BEST margaritas and Cheese dip is old school thick not all watered down! Everything we had was wonderful!!! Plenty of seating, no wait and the wait staff was fast and friendly!

I was fairly well impressed with this little out of the way Mexican restaurant. Everything was good, food the service and even the atmosphere was cheerful! I'll definitely stop here again if traveling through this way. Oh, I forgot, my wife's margarita was really good too!

Although it's good for business, the crowd and line are a bit of a nuisance sometimes when picking up an order. But, the service is outstanding and the staff is very welcoming. Occasionally the pork chop in the El Sol Grill Fajitas is overcooked and occasionally there are more onions and peppers than meat, but for the most part, the food is excellent...especially the cheese dip. The prices are very reasonable and probably a bit lower than expected for the portion size. Any cook/restaurant can have a bad day, so to expect perfection is a bit much, but consistency is key and they consistently provide good food and service. Guess that's why I keep coming back. I recommend El Sol highly for this reason, and because you are treated as a member of the family just coming for a quick visit.

I live in Minneapolis now but grew up in Pine Bluff. El Sol is still the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had. Every time I come home, I HAVE to have it. Prices are cheap, food is phenomenal, and the service is incredible. If you’re stopping in Pine Bluff, this is a MUST try spot.
