El San Jose

Not a great first time experience we placed a Togo order and they didn't get a name for the order ,the lady on the phone was short and rude after we ordered 3 things and asked for price we got hung up on . And after getting the food we noticed that the person that took are order wrote down the wrong order and after calling back and speaking to manager we was able to get the right order. After getting the right order we had a bay leaf in a chicken quesadilla also look like tomatoes in the quesadilla as well which was not in the description of that plate. The white queso cheese was very good Pollo Loco was very good.

I came here years ago but it was close to closing so I did not have the full dining experience, I did try the chicken wings at that time and they made an impression that made me want to dine here again. This time I ordered chicken and beef taquitos, and my husband had the Pollo rancho and Taco and tostada for my son. We order queso and chicken wings as well. I enjoyed the beef taquito and my husband showed no disappointment, however, the chicken wings were not seasoned and the buffalo sauce was a little tangy. The salsa was perfect for kids also the server gave us space to enjoy our meal. The last thing, their high chair for children was top-notch, I never saw that kind anywhere else. I can see us becoming regulars at this restaurant.

The food is genuinely always good and tasty. It's obviously an ethnically true restaurant which maintains it's standards for friendly service and sincere attentive treatment with all customers.

We visited here while on a trip out of town. The food was good but the drinks weren’t the best. The carnitas tacos were bland. The portions were large and everything was reasonably priced. Nice for families and larger parties as well.

Had fajitas on the lunch menu. It was ok. I had better, but it was ok. The restaurant is a little run down. Just didn't like the atmosphere at all.
