El Salto Mexican Restaurant

If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would! It's one of my favorite restaurants! I have been here many times and I have never once been disappointed. Sadly we now live out of the area, but whenever we are in town we always stop in and it always lives up to expectations! The service is top-notch. Hey, you guys rock! The food is awesome! My go-to is the steak enchiladas (pictured) and they are always so good! We always get the large cheese dip. But the guacamole dip is great too. The Burrito El Salto is great - and it's huge! The fajitas are great! My wife is a big fan of the chimichangas. Overall, it's great to be able to visit such a dependable place - the food and service have never let us down.

Server was pleasantly friendly but they got our order wrong and surprisingly did not show accountability for it which was disappointing. We had to request for utensils and remind them of our drink order. Server likely had a bad day. Lots of parking. No way of making reservations ahead of time. The service could be better.

Enjoyed the food. Salsa is a bit bland (too tomato-y). Shrimp cocktail had a good taste (a bit watery). Taco salad is a bit small for the price but still good tasting.

It is el salto. The classic Mexican diner. I’ve only been to this one twice. I always love the OG location in Brooklyn Park and we hit the one in Parkville a lot too. Anyway. We were here for my B-day this weekend it was amazing as always. The service was incredible as always.

So where do I start.... I will never return and TacoBell is better. The burrito looked like a taco, all the tacos were shoved into foil and were barely able to be pulled apart. The 4 churos for $6 werent even 6 inches long each. 4, 6 " churos for $6.....🤣, 90% of places sell foot long ones for a dollar or two. This place is a joke I have no clue how yall are open. The food was bland too, im so happy I didn't leave a tip for this trash.
