El Rodeo Restaurant

My favorite restaurant in Bend, OR. Is El Rodeo. The waitress didn't know if they were connected. Same wonderful flavor. I introduced my co-worker with a Catalac Margarita. She's hooked. Lol...

Super yummy food, nice service, chill vibe. What more can ask for? I really enjoyed my meal, my husband as well. Food tasted fresh

I've eaten here before and the food is typical for a Mexican restaurant. The service is great and the meal is delicious. The only problem I have is with pricing. My daughter ordered a side of sour cream, and when I received the bill it was priced at $5.25 additional. This is an outrageous price for 2-3oz of sour cream. The second issue is the $1.32 "convenience fee" added to the bill. I assume this was for using a credit card. I understand that they are trying to recoup processing fees that they are paying, but to me this is a normal cost associated with running a restaurant and it should be factored in when pricing menu. I can see the writing on the wall, in the future restaurants will charge a fee for silverware, napkins, chairs etc. (humor intended to make a point). Just adju

It wasn't very busy, which I was very happy with. Food was phenomenal!! I unfortunately didn't get pictures of the food, but I did get several photos of their decorations. All are done by hand, which is rather a normal part of the culture I find. Service was spot on! Food was perfect!! I had never had what I ordered, it was a creamy chicken dish with fresh carrots and mushrooms, with corn tortillas and rice and beans. It took us a bit to find this restaurant, GPS had us on the other side of the lake/river - body of water-on a road that had a lot of houses overlooking the water, it was a nice drive through the neighborhood! Great cultural atmosphere with vibrant wall décor, traditional furniture, and lively music. The restaurant served authentic Mexican dishes that were well-prepared and came out quickly. We enjoyed the classic chips and salsa, along with what seemed to be curtido. Portion sizes were generous for the price, and everyone in our group agreed they’d return for the delicious flavors and overall quality of the food.
