El Rincón Tropical

The food was delicious all my guest love how delicious it was. I am very grateful for the staff saving my event at last minute I know it was hard work to feed so many people but they maintained the quality of the food and saved my night. Thank you Rincon tropical you guys are the best in the 757!!!

I didn't expect to give 5 stars when I walked into this place. It is kind of hidden near the back side of a shopping area. It's had a simple, contemporary atmosphere with nice paintings and clean bathrooms. The food was just amazing though. The papa rellena was as big as a softball; perfectly lightly fried and crispy exterior with soft and flavorful potatoes and beef inside. The mofongo flight was 3 (not small) piles of perfectly prepared mofongo, topped with pernil, bistec encebollado, and shrimp a la criolla. All three had an amazing sauce that covered the mofongo to add to it's flavor. I particularly loved the shrimp a la criolla. Some prices lean toward the high side, but there are affordable options. It is worth every penny. I will be returning here.

Great food, Good Customer Service, we love the decoration, excellent food and tasty, good portion, and nice presentation, even I met the chef to congratulate him for the flavoring and the presentation and he was very humble and very nice, but I believe that is kind of pricy. $90. for 2 people I felt that I was back in Hawaii. I've been a chef for over 10 years and I highly recommend it, just watch for the price.

Was excited to try this restaurant and was sadly a bit disappointed. The jibarito sandwich was ok but didn't have much taste too it. Yellow rice with gandules had no flavor at all and tasted like plain white rice. The Malta was good but they didn't make it so I can't give much credit there. I would give it one more try but get something entirely different. The person I was with enjoyed their sandwich however and I the empanadas (shrimp) were delicious. The mayoketchup was also very good.

I celebrated my birthday at El Rincón Tropical. Jose and his staff were very accommodating and helped to make my celebration very special. The food is delicious!!! The service is great! Thank you so much, Jose and staff!!!
