Customer Reviews
I went to this place about maybe three weeks ago and I ordered food. It was about 2 o’clock And when I went there, everybody was nice the person the lady was nice to me. I ordered, but I think it was rice beans and Bacallao that was like $32 I was like what and I think I ordered a drink too. I was like all that is $32 wow that’s crazy and the dude from the back came to the front. I guess he was a chef and he was like yeah it’s $32. That’s not expensive. You know you got this you got that you got that is expensive $32 for rice and rice and beans and fish $32. No I’m good. I’m not coming back.
Best Dominican food in Indiana! Had the Pica Pollo with Tostones. The Fried chicken was so juicy and crunchy. The tostones were soft and crunchy as well. The Ham and Cheese Empanada was to die for! My Fiancé had the stewed beef with Moro (Rice with Black Beans) I cannot wait to be back here. As a Dominican myself, I’m so happy to have a Dominican restaurant close by 🩷🥺
If I could give this place more than 10 stars, I would! This Dominican restaurant is the real deal—authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. Every dish is packed with richness and perfectly seasoned, from the juicy, tender meats to the fluffy rice and beans. The plantains are golden and sweet, the stews are hearty, and every bite tastes like it was made with love and tradition. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food makes you feel like you’re sitting down to a true Dominican home-cooked meal. Easily a 10/10, highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine flavor and an amazing experience!
I have been craving yaroa for months but there aren't any Dominican restaurants in my area. I was extremely excited when I saw this place was a quick drive from my hotel. I ordered the yaroa platano maduro with a side of tostones. I am honestly in heaven writing this review. The yaroa was perfection. The chicken was well seasoned and moist and the portion could easily feed two people (but I am greedy). The tostones were also delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 100/10 recommend.
Had lunch here with my Dominican mom, we’re originally from Long Island, NY, relocated to Indy about 7 years ago and have been chasing the flavors of bodegas for years. The food is delicious, flavorful and fresh. The interior is cute with a nice map of DR on the wall. The staff were welcoming, kind and attentive. 10/10 would recommend.
