El Rey de la Torta

The food was good, but nothing to run home and tell your mom about. The horchata was meh (just alright), like any other restaurant's horchata. I also got the flan, but it was overcooked.

We visited Neveria Antojitos Ice Cream Shop in Glendale with our crew and ordered five ice creams. The young lady who assisted us did an excellent job—she was polite, professional, and represented the business with great customer service. Our order was handled efficiently, and the ice cream we received was fresh and very good. Overall, we had a positive experience and truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely recommend stopping by for quality treats and friendly service.

Let me start by saying this: They are so dedicated to fresh food that they have someone hand squeezing juice to order for all drinks and they offer smoothies. The Jamaica and Horchata are dreamy and made from scratch, of course! The food is perfectly seasoned and charred. Tortillas are made fresh in house, the burritos are all fire. The quesadilla is a monster of delicious perfection, seriously-It's huge. I saw the ceviche served and it looked amazing! I haven't tried it personally but I'll be back.. Honestly, can any restaurant in the Phoenix area even compete with El Rey de la Torta? It's spectacular and you shouldnt wait another minute to go. Customer service is the best I've seen at any restaurant for years!

Great hidden type of place. Walked in and the vibe was amazing, some great music playing softly in the background. Server came to our booth right away to get our drink order in. Gave us a few minutes for our order to be placed. I ordered the Watermelon lime drink (made fresh where you can see them), it was delish!! I also ordered the fajita mix, was so tasteful, steak was grilled to perfection, shrimp were amazing. Overall, this place is the place to be or come when you want a good Mexican homemade plate meal that hits close to home-cooked meals made by abuela or mom.

Delicious food & wonderful service. I had to stop my meal and leave this review because everything has been so analyzing! Samuel truly gave us outstanding service & was very informative about the menu. 10/10 will be back again!
