El Rancho

Although this spot may not be a "Must Visit" recommended sit-down restaurant, El Rancho is a delicious spot for a late night bite in downtown Columbia, MO! We would go to El Rancho late at night quite frequently while attending college, and so do a lot of the current students because of the prime location across from the college bars. My "go-to" item is the grilled chicken nachos smothered in queso. El Rancho is known for making food quick and easy to grab & go.

Their lunch and dinner menus are reasonably priced and tasty. The atmosphere is just fine. My only concern is the quality of sauces they provide - they are okay, but not awesome like I have experienced in some of the other Mexican restaurants.

Welcoming and accommodating! My phone and scooter had died and they let me charge both no problem. Needed my phone to pay. And scooter to get home. They saved the day! Food was quick and so tasty!

Great Mexican to eat that’s fast and downtown. A little pricey for the cheese “ that looks and taste a little water down” and beans sour cream nachos I think around $15 wow beef nachos are cheaper I’ve ate here before they have huge burritos don’t have any pictures but I think that’s the way to go here. Another thing, employees at the register seem to be annoyed if you don’t know how to order or what they have. In my experience the few times I’ve been here.

First time at El Rancho last night and I was satisfied! We shared the fajita steak nachos and chips and queso. It was tasty.
