This is a no nonsense down home kitchen. Nothing fancy but the excellent food. Their "Carne De Res"(stew beef ) soup with the verduras, ( cob corn,yucca and complements of other vegetables) makes for a hearty delicious and healthy meal.
I live in Elizabeth and can no longer find good pupusas near me. I was driving back from somewhere and never been in this area. We were hungry and considered just going home to eat but I stopped at a red light and looked to my right. We coincidentally stopped right next door, and looked up reviews real quick. The reviews were good so we stopped and tried the pupusas. What a happy accident for us. The pupusas were so good. We got revueltas and were very satisfied. I live about 30-40 minutes away but I'll be back for these pupusas
The food was delicious, but be aware that this is a cash only restaurant. Nowhere on the establishment is this indicated, nor was it explained when I placed the order over the phone. The cashier was a bit rude as well, no customer service skills.
The pupusas are good!!! CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT
The pupusas are so good here and great prices! My new go to spot for pupusas. Thank you!
