El Prado Cuban Cafe

We had a very fine lunch at this cafe, with excellent service by Amy. It is no frills, but our food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. The Cuban coffee is excellent!

Warning! Do not use your credit card here. We had to pick up some food first thing in the morning. Since it was a big order I offered to pay over the phone the day before. (I gave my credit card information over the phone. I am an idiot, I know.) The next day, the card number was being used in L.A. and Las Vegas. About $5000 was spent before the bank caught it and started denying transactions. I called the day after and tried to speak to a manager. The girl on the other end kept hanging up on me.

Stopped in here and had some excellent Cuban coffee. The fish meal was delicious, but my steak sandwich was a little anemic and bland. Service was friendly and fast. Have returned multiple time for the coffee 😊

I had a wonderful experience at el Prado. El bistec de Palomia was outstanding — la ensalada Fresca y los tostones muy crujientes The service was amazing , professional and very family friendly atmosphere El prada is a place you can really enjoy your break with great service and food I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it!

Cuban sandwich was liked by my friend, but he said there was no pork on it. Fries were crispy outside and light on the inside. The shrimp creole was good. Menu say $6.93 for the Cuban but got charged $7.41 before credit card fee. First place I ever got a bill with a single price on a 3x5 card with no list of items, prices taxes and service fee. Spoke to the manager who didn’t understand my concern
