El Pilon Market is such a gem in our community. The food is always delicious—I’ve tried quite a bit of the menu and have never once been disappointed. The staff is amazing, greeting you the moment you walk in. Even when they’re busy, they acknowledge you and let you know they’ll be right with you, which is rare these days and so appreciated. This week I had an experience that really showed me what kind of place this is. I lost my wallet on Tuesday, and when I came back on Friday to retrace my steps, they had kept it safe for me the entire time. Someone had kindly turned it in (including my cash), and the staff made sure it was taken care of until I returned. Wow, this place is a hidden gem in West Covina! We order their carne asada fries, carne asada nachos and fish tacos for takeaway, and everything was fresh and delicious! I can’t wait to come back to try other items on the menu, check out the rest of the market and dine in sometime. Great place!
