El Patron Mexican Grill

Just woke up throwing up after we tried to tell the El Patron server that their beans were bad, took away the food from our toddlers. But it was to late. They had already eaten some. The server was incredibly rude and dismissive. Don't go here! Avoid it like the plague. Me and my little ones are so sick. I know it's one of the few places to eat in Seymour, but just drive the 30 minutes to Springfield. It will be worth not being sick and having to watch your 3 year old suffer and throw up as well.

All 5/5. Food was fresh, good portioning, GREAT PRICING, and nice staff. Ive been craving "good Mexican" food for 6 years and ive found it. I'll drive to come here every holiday! Legitimately an amazing experience for my valentine's date. Thank yall, please dont change your recipes or practices too much!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Restraunt was clean, a child sat us and gave us our tea we ordered and chips. So cute. They would have gotten a 5 on the food but the brought me some food I had not ordered. It was corrected quickly, but it was halfway through the meal when my food came. So, I filled up on chips and salsa and wasn't hungry by the time the meal came.

For a small town with no other restaurants, this wasn't bad tex-mex. They had some true Mexican dishes, and classic Mexican restaurant music. Their starter salsa and cheese sauce was that horrible bottled stuff, and they didn't have lengua or elote, which is a tell.

The food here was very good And our waiter was very friendly. The outside looked a little skeptical to someone from out of town but it was very good inside. I got the fajita nachos and they were amazing also the guacamole was very good. The chips and salsa kept coming and we were almost never out.
