El Parasol

This place has really just become greedy & gone down hill. I'm a Santa Fe native & know how nice it used to be to go here. The prices are outrageous now - $4 + for a cheapo little taco wow. I asked nicely for some more salsa with my tostada since they gave me a tiny little wasteful plastic container & the counter lady said "that's what you get with yours." She could have kindly offered to upsell me some more salsa which makes the business more money instead of being rude about it. I won't be back.

My order was incorrect I asked for manager Daniel they said he was unavailable didn't refund me never contacted me and when I ask for him they say he is busy..... Another words u get what they give u and don't complain because the manager will not bother to even speak to anyone.. I see him at the casino aperently he gambles to much to satisfy his customers....

Chicken Tacos w/ Guacamole and Salsa Rojo. (You can also get a Salsa Verde but I love this one so much I can’t imagine trying another one) Best tacos ever. It used to be that you could only get great el parasol tacos from the original location as the other ones always seemed to be a step behind in terms of consistency. Well no longer is that the case and the Ohkay Owingeh El Parasol is proving to be great outlet for people not wanting to drive all the way into town just to get the same delicious tacos. It makes me happy I can get tacos from my favorite spot in my Pueblo!!

You know, when people in Taos say, “stop at the gas station next to the casino on your way back to Santa Fe for some killer tacos,” most people probably think, “yeah, thanks, no.” Most people are wrong. These tacos are excellent. They’re gas station tacos only in that the kitchen is attached to a gas station. Beyond that, these tacos are in their own taco-verse. Stop here to eat tacos. Three is filling. Don’t kid yourself.

I was looking for some decent Mexican food for lunch and well Just take a look at these beans. That’s all I’m going to say. Very sad looking and this is a 5 minutes from a “fresh” order. As well as the lady who took my order was very rude from the start to everyone not just me. She looked miserable and that she hates her life. Well you don’t need to pass your emotional problems to everyone around you. I WILL never come back here.💯
