Food was good. The waitress was kind and attentive. I had the bandeja paisa which is a lot of food. The flavors are authentic and you can also buy Colombian snacks and cocosette which is Venezuelan.
I ordered Churrasco from the menu for $16.99. However, when I got to the restaurant, the receipt showed $29.67. I showed the cashier the menu on my phone and told her it said $16.99. She told me it was a menu from 3 years ago, but the menu was actually posted 1 year ago. I was very hungry at the time and didn’t want to argue, so I just paid and left. They didn’t even say sorry. I specifically asked for the steak to be medium, but they cooked it well done. I ended up paying almost double the price and received worse service. I do not recommend this place to anyone. If you order over the phone, definitely double-check the prices and you will need to speak Spanish because no one there speaks English.
The place looked very nice and the music was alright. The service was quick but the server didn't know much about the menu. We ordered empanadas, bandeja paisa and chicharron. Personally, the food was missing seasoning, the beans and rice were pretty mid, sin sabor. We are a Colombian family, so our standards are pretty high too. Im sure other people would find this restaurant delicious.
Worst Colombian food I've ever had. The empanadas tasted like they've been fried in old rancid oil. Same for Chicharron and Chorizo. Rice was hard at edges, NOT crispy. It was old rice. Food is either over seasoned or not seasonedcat all. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Service was ok. Would not recommend. Bilus is better.
Outstanding place. My wife decided to take me here on a whim. Best decision I had today to go. The food was amazing. The waitress that we had did not speak much English but she was sweet. I love places like this give me the feeling of authenticity. The walls are painted and has very lovely colors that expresses the couture. The food was out of this world. There was no disappointment in flavors, with my order and wife's order. If you are looking for a place that differs from the usual Mexican restaurant but still want a Latino flavor this Columbian restaurant is a must try.
