This steak plate called “carne asada El Mexico de Chicago” was amazing! Perfect grill, fresh guac, great rice, and grilled veggies on point. flavorful!! The hospitality here was also on point. Very welcoming. Definitely will be back.

Fantastic spot for late night eats. Somehow stumbled upon their karaoke night and the vibes were off the charts. Food-wise, everything was good across the board. Complimentary chips and salsa were fresh. Delicious tacos, good beans, solid rice, and great red salsa. Maybe I will work up the courage to sing something next time.

I wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. The food was absolutely incredible. We had breakfast items and we plan to return to try the rest of the menu. Great atmosphere and the service was fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic restaurant. We didn’t get a pic of our main meal, but did snap a pic of the incredible churros.

Ordered the birria tacos which SLAPPED and my partner had tripe tacos which were also delicious. Salsa was also great. Service was lovely. Our server was very attentive and sweet. Will definitely come back!

No matter where you go in the world, a restaurant run by a mother and son never disappoints when it comes to taste and satisfaction. This place, with the true atmosphere of a local eatery, is the perfect spot to enjoy top-quality Mexican food. The only drawback was that my Spanish skills are limited to Sunday league soccer talk, but they still served me the best fajitas and tacos I’ve ever had. Next time, I’ll be sure to try other dishes too! Please believe that we Koreans have very high standards when it comes to food, so I hope many people visit this place. It was truly a happy time. GRACIAS!!! A HUEVO!!!!
