We are on our vacation. Wife asked for some authentic Mexican food. I looked at the reviews for this place and thought she should like this place. When walking in I was greeted by very nice employees. I ordered take out. A California burrito 🌯. It was super big. Also very delicious. I oredered also the Birra tacos. They are supposed to be fried like crispy but they were not. Also had the churros. This would have been five stars but the tacos and churros were either not fried or the oil in the frier was old. They were not as good as burrito because of this . Atmosphere needs a little more comfortable inside. Needs some more authenticicity. Service was great. Thank you.

Food was food. Chips were freshly fried. I had the Del Mar Fajitas. Shrimp, scallops and tilapia with the typical veggies plus pineapple. Tilapia was kinda dry, but everything else was great. HUGE portions. I highly recommend this place.

We prefer the Gretna location. Good food. Great portions. Always have leftovers. We order the Nachos Rancheros (such great flavor) definitely a meal on its own. Lol Tried the El Muchacho fajitas (with onions n mushrooms) instead of their regular fajitas ( I dont like bell peppers). The steak quesadilla are a good size (enough to split between the 2 younger grandkids). Tried the Camarones al mojo de ajo ( a Garlic shrimp dish) it was delicious. Their fajita bowl is very filling. Margaritas are flavorful and great size. Love their Margarita flights. Ordered 4 different flavors (8 flavors to choose from) Even though everyone was full and no dessert ordered, they have a topping area in the hallway for the kids.

We really loved this place! The portions are large and everything is so flavorful! We were sat right away despite how busy it looked. I got the Fajita Burrito and my Husband got the Fajita Bowl. My husband has a large appetite and he could only finish half of the bowl. We both thoroughly enjoyed what we chose. The complimentary chips are nice and crispy, and the salsa is cold and delicious. I loved the queso! This is going to be our “go-to” spot whenever we are craving fajitas!

Wow, what a surprise! We stopped in for an impromptu late lunch / early dinner, and I will just say - we'll absolutely be back! The margarita flight was amazing (we asked for the waiters favorite to add, and he was spot on with the tamarin). Also got the Top Shelf and House - delicious on a hot day! The food followed suit with the guacamole, tacos, and steak being hearty, flavorful, and delectable. Their menu is pretty large, so I was hesitant, but if the rest are like what we had today? Oh goodness, I want to try them all!
