EL MALECON RESTAURANT

This is my first time trying this restaurant the tacos are really good packed with a lot of flavor my only issue is I feel like I was overcharged for the tacos I paid 16$ for three el pastor tacos but on their website it says they do three set of tacos for 10$ with your choice of protein and then if u want one el pastor tacos it’s 4.20$ so if you get three it would be 12.60$ before tax. Now I know tax wouldn’t equate to 4$ so I feel like I was taken advantage of because it’s my first time going there.

I enjoyed my visit. Food was tasty, much like home made. I went for rice, beans and all things pork this time. Kind of funny, I went in for tacos, but saw all this goodness on display. Is the place fancy, nope. And that's also what I liked. It's a neighborhood establishment that doesn't make you feel like a tourist. The woman that took care of me was also very nice as well. I'll be back

El Malecon is a hidden gem in the heartbeat of New Britain. The food had my tastebuds popping. The service was welcoming.

I made specific requests for al pastor tacos, women came back to the front and never said if it could be done or not, I leave get home to see I was missing what I requested for, was overcharged and rushed...$15 for 3 tacos is insane...Go to Taco Bell or somewhere else!!!

We Went in and the lady there was nice at first. We got 4 plates, small plate of spaghetti and 3 can coke soda.. total was $93!!!!! What !!! What is this a fancy restaurant ?!? I’m assuming the lady was the owner and she left to who knows where and waited 15 mins for her to come back and never did.. the guy there then said I’ll charge you only $71 but a total of $79 with tax … $8 of tax ??! Ridiculous!!!! Stay away ! go to a fancy restaurant instead !!
