El Kiosco Mexican Restaurant

I've been a dedicated patron for over 15 years. We've celebrated Christmas here a couple of times. Last year (Christmas 2024) we decided to change it up & we did Mexican for Christmas dinner & we purchased all the mainstays & must haves from El Kiosco's. The salsa is fresh (& you can tell), the guacamole dip (b/c I don't do onions but love avocados), the cheese dip is the perfect match of cheesy goodness with a smidgen of kick, the appetizer Nachos (+shredded chicken) can be eaten as a dinner entrée, even the tortilla chips can be used for dipping or an edible eating utensil. I like it simple, when it comes to comfort food, if you're anything like me, then I recommend the: Three (3) hardshell, ground Beef tacos (no lettuce & add cheese) which comes with rice & beans (YUMMY). This is the best Mexican restaurant you will EVER find! The people are super kind and the food is second to none. We live in ATL but will drive 2 hrs to eat this food and they have the best service!!! Marcos the bartender is awesome…the servers Mario and Edward are amazing…if you are in the area and don’t eat here you are missing out!!!!!! Try the Mojarra and the Molcajete…Grovetown, GA

First time trying this spot because I ended up winning a $100 gift card. So naturally I invited my family out and we enjoyed every moment. Food & drinks were delicious. Service was great. And my mom kept commenting on how clean the place was. 😊😊😊

I met up with my friend, and this was his pick as I have never been here. The place was so pretty and decorated so nice. We got seated immediately for lunchtime. There was lots to choose from, and the mango alcoholic drink that's in the picture was so freaking delicious, lol. I forgot the name. We ordered and didn't have to wait too long for our food. Everything was yummy and tasty. It cooked perfect. I ordered the chilaquiles, which normally has an egg and steak in it, but here they don't and charge you for them, which to me is ridiculous. It was ok, but I'm not a fan of it being small. The waitress did forget my esquite, but we just got it to go, so no worries. We had a great experience and wouldn't mind coming back, especially for that mango beverage.

I had the tortas and my daughter had the Texas rice—both were absolutely delicious. But the real miracle? My teenage daughter actually said, “This is really good.” I haven’t heard her rate food higher than “it’s alright” in years, so that alone says everything. The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. This review is very well earned, and we’ll absolutely be back!
