A few locals told us this place was excellent... it was not. The condition of the outside should have been our first clue. It looks like it's about to be demolished. I ordered a tamal, the first one that was brought out had been sitting on a hot plate for at least a week! It was so burnt on the bottom that I could not cut it with a knife, the bottom half inch had become a solid mass. Second one was fresher, but the first should never have seen the outside of the kitchen. We were there on a hot day, inside they have a single wall AC unit that looked about 20 years old and not doing the job of even trying to make it cool. And then there were the flies that were buzzing around constantly.

Can't tell by the place,and its easy to miss but this place has good service and pretty good Mexican food id go back again when im in the area

Very disappointed in the food taste and quality. Ordered carry out for a family gathering. The restarant has been under repair for at least a year now and still has not been completed. I had avoided stopping there because the outside was literally falling apart. I assumed with the outside looked that bad, the kitchen would not be much better. I will say, the inside looked much better then the outside. Unfortunately the food was very bland. I ordered 3 enchiladas and they came bare. No sauce, no nothing. Ordered 3 other means and only one came with sauce and it was literally drowning in it. If you are looking for quality Mexican food you're better off going to Frostburg's El Maya restarant.

We weren't sure if it was open - we are from out of town and it did not appear to be -but they are just doing some renovations and they are indeed open. They have delicious food and fantastic margaritas. The lunch portions were generous.

Food is excellent, portions great, fast service, overall very well done in an older building. They're redoing the place, bathrooms first, good idea. Carpet should be top priority.
