El Jefe's Taqueria - Kenmore Square

This is by far the best location in Boston. The food tastes the best, the portion here are very generous and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The pickled onions are a must try. Their bowls and burritos are immaculate and the restaurant itself is designed the best way out of all that I have been to. Them having an app is also very helpful they fulfill your order within 5 minutes and they work so fast that regardless of the line inside you'll get you food within 10 minutes. The place itself is clean including the bathrooms and I only go there every day after my classes. Definitely recommend checking them out.

ordered a burrito and there water just pouring out of it. absolutely disgusting. the bits that weren’t drenched tasted alright, hence the two stars.

The fastest most authentic Mexican you'll get around these parts for a decent price. Not trying to be trendy or whatever, just a simple no nonsense taqueria for when it's midnight and that craving hits

My son asked me to get him some of their spicy sauce on the side of his bowl (instead of in his bowl) because he wanted to see if he likes it. The cashier told me they would charge me extra if they put the same amount of sauce on the side rather than in the plate. Absurd! And customer-unfriendly. Pity because it’s otherwise a very decent place.

This place is an amazing stop before or after a Red Sox game!! It was my first time trying this after a suggestion from a friend and was NOT disappointed!! Absolutely love their wall of hot sauces with Valentina, of course!!
