El Jalisco Bainbridge

Darned good Mexican food. The quesabirria and the table-made guacamole are stunning. The ceviche was solid work. Great service. My new favorite Mexican joint in Bainbridge, Georgia.

Atmosphere was awesome. The drinks was amazing! Food was a tad large serve size but worth it. Will definitely go back again!

The food was just ok, but the service and overall experience was not. Some draft beer options that were on the menu were not available (should have been marked out or something). Had to ask multiple times for the cheese dip that was ordered and two of the entree orders came out incorrect. One was never fixed correctly so that person just gave up and ate it the way it came out the second time. Note that they charge 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more even if the checks are split. I did not realize that since most places only do that for parties of 8 or more (we had a party of 6). The waiter stood over me waiting for my card therefore making me nervous. Best Mexican restaurant in Bainbridge. Quite possibly THE best restaurant in Bainbridge, for that matter. Honestly we go a couple times a week sometimes and don't get tired of it. The food is consistent and service is generally/overall very good. Faves include street tacos (pastor, barbacoa/birria), fluffy tacos, El Jalisco bowl with barbacoa, quesabirria, guacamole. Also, the fries dipped in queso... you're welcome. **Updating 3 months after original review just to say how much I love this place and that it is, indeed, the best restaurant in Bainbridge. I could eat the quesabirria every day!!
