El Guerrero Mexican Restaurant

Traveling through the country on a lazy Sunday afternoon, we found inexpensive (22$ for two meals, tea, chips and salsa twice) and very good food. Mexican diner-like with all booth seating. Fresh food, excellent fish tacos. Really good salsa and a very friendly and polite service. Go! (Word of advice to people who have issues eating there but keep on visiting and writing horrible reviews: don't go again, try something else)

The service and food here is usually fine until this past month. This instance has happened TWICE IN ONE MONTH. I called in an order at 8:08pm on June 1st this evening Arrived at 8:50pm and they acted like I never called in an order. YALL NEED TO DO BETTER AT KEEPING UP WITH ORDERS!!! Thanks :) perhaps I'll try again another time, in the meantime DOOOO BETTER!!!

Took 2 hours to get our food and they brought out the food at different times for our table of 6, asked us what we ordered after waiting an hour, and brought out food we didn’t even order. we had to send this steak chimichanga back because it was burnt and didn’t come with salad Took 2 hours or more to get everyone’s food…. Very unhappy with this place. Don’t waste your money

I literally would give them no stars if I could. Called to place a order the lady couldn't understand I was saying beef so I spelled it. She hangs the phone up when I called back to speak with a supervisor she informs me he's not avaliable and I asked to speak to another lady who then informs me he's there an I'm welcome to come inside to speak to him all I wanted was nachos..which after our history with them an finding plastic in a coworkers food I was already hesitant about eating here again anyway but after the disrespect we want be getting food again from here again.

Update 3-14-2025: Oops, I did it again! I tried this place one more time after not being there for several years, thinking that maybe it had improved. Well I was wrong, it's still the same. The food is at best marginal, the service is poor and the atmosphere is blasé. I would really like to enjoy this place because it's fairly close to my house but I can't. It is what it is and it's beyond my control. I have been an optimistic person but I guess I am glutton for punishment. I do not think that I will ever return here again. 2015- I went here again today and took my wife this time. I ordered one mushroom and one spinach quesadilla and she had a chicken burrito as well as a beef burrito and a beef taco. The waitress was very nice and the salsa and chips were good especially since this time
